
Kennewick Driver Cited for Hitting Pole to Avoid Collision, It It Fair?
Police in Kennewick cited a woman yesterday after she swerved to avoid hitting another car and instead hit a power pole and knocked it down.
The accident happened just after 6 p.m. October 21st on E 19th Ave near the intersection of Washington and Gum.
The woman's husband claims a car was headed directly at her when at the last second she decided to swerve to avoid a head on collision. Her SUV then hit a power pole and knocked it over onto her SUV. No one was injured in the crash and the other driver did not stop. The Kennewick Police issued a citation to the woman.
