Officers have taken several reports regarding fraudulent claims for unemployment benefits. This is happening when someone using your personal information makes a claim for unemployment benefits. If your employer notifies you that they received notification from unemployment stating you have filed a claim, and the claim was not made by you, please go to the below link to file a fraud complaint through the ESD website as soon as possible. Please also contact your local law enforcement agency to file a fraud report.
