Kennewick Police Search for Armed & Dangerous Murder Suspect
Kennewick Police are searching for a murder suspect. 38-year old
A national murder warrant has been issued for 38-year old Anthony Spearman.
65-year old Leonard Slack died after he was shot early Tuesday morning.
Kennewick Police were called to a disturbance in progress just after midnight in the 3500 block of West Hood Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers administered aid to Slack, who had been shot twice. He was transported to an area hospital where he underwent surgery. It was determined that Slack's injuries were more substantial and he was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center where he underwent more surgeries.
After investigation, Spearman was initially wanted for probable cause for Assault 1st Degree with a Firearm.
Slack died of his injuries on Wednesday.
Spearman is now wanted for Murder. A national warrant has been issued for his arrest.
