Kennewick Police with a little patience were able to apprehend two robbery suspects over a three-week period.

The incident occurred on the 2200 block of N. Rhode Island Court on 12/24/2020 in which Kennewick Police were called to a reported disturbance with a weapon that quickly escalated into a robbery.
Kennewick Police wrote about the case on their Facebook page:

37-year-old Martin Olivera and 33-year-old Dexter Wallace were quickly developed as suspects and warrants for 1st Degree Robbery were issued for their arrest.

On the evening of 12/15/2020 detectives conducted a traffic stop and immediately recognized Olivera as the driver of the vehicle. Olivera was arrested on his warrant and booked into Benton County Jail.

With the help of our federal partners at the United States Marshals Service, this case came to a close yesterday afternoon on 1/4/2020 with the arrest of Wallace who had been located at an area hotel. Wallace was later booked into the Benton County Jail for 1st Degree Robbery

It's another case in the books for the Kennewick Police Department and it shows with a little patience, no one can escape the law.
