A 41-year old man is behind bars facing several charges including violating a Domestic Violence No-Contact Order Violation and Resisting Arrest.

Wednesday, just before 10 pm, Kennewick Police were sent out to a call of a possible domestic assault taking place when dispatch heard a verbal argument before the line was disconnected. A second call was made letting police know that suspect Thomas Anderson had left the home. Responding officers searched the area but were unable to locate Anderson.

After investigating, it was learned that Thomas was in violation of a no-contact order and had active warrants. Thomas reportedly grabbed a 61-year old female by the throat and took phones from others, preventing them from calling for help.

Shortly after 11 pm, police were notified that the suspect was back at the home. When they arrived back at the location, Thomas had already left on foot. He was soon located and resisted as officers took him into custody.

Thomas is jailed on numerous charges of assault, two counts of Domestic Violence No Contact Order Violation, Interfering with Reporting of Domestic Violence, and three warrants.
