Kennewick Police to Serve FREE Ice Treats Friday

The forecast for Friday is calling for a high of 102 degrees in the Tri-Cities.  What better way to cool off than with FREE flavored shaved ice, courtesy of the Kennewick Police Foundation.  The organization finds ways for officers to give back to the community, strengthening the relationship.

Kennewick Police officers will be canvassing neighborhoods on Friday, along with two Kona trucks providing the tasty, cool treats.

Watch for the Kona trucks and officers making stops at Kennewick area apartment complexes and the Boys and Girls Club, at 910 7th Place.

The treats will be served from 3 pm to 5 pm at the following locations:

Arlo Apartments, Aspen Hills, Central Park, Heatherstone, Kent Manor, Meadow Park, Phoenix Manor, Spring Meadow, and Woodland Hills.

Kids of all ages are encouraged to stop by one of the locations to enjoy a cool, refreshing treat and get to know our Kennewick officers.
