
17-Year Old Boy Dies in Kennewick Shooting, Police Searching For Suspects
Police are searching for the suspects who shot and killed a teen boy on Thursday.
The shooting took place at about 5:15 pm in the 2100 block of North Rhode Island Court. Police responded to the report of an assault with a weapon. Witnesses reported they saw several males running away from the area.

Upon arrival, Police located the 17-year-old male victim suffering a gunshot wound.
Police provided medical attention until the Kennewick Fire Department arrived. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died from his injury.
A perimeter was set up with a K9 and multiple resources.

Police officers from Richland, Pasco, and Benton County Deputies surrounded the area to search for suspects. However, none were located.
Police believe this to be an isolated incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Kennewick Police Department at 509-628-0333.
