Kennewick Woman Jailed for Alleged DUI and Hit and Run

A 21-year old Kennewick woman is behind bars after Police witnessed her leave the scene of a collision.

At 1:30 am, Thursday, Kennewick Police were patrolling the area of West 3rd Avenue & South Vancouver Street and saw a vehicle speeding.

The vehicle hit a parked car, and the driver kept going.

Police caught up to the suspect, Alma Vargas-Sanchez.

Vargas-Sanchez was booked at the Benton County Jail facing charges of driving under the influence and hit and run.
