OMG! I Found These Ugly Things In the Yard, What Are They? [VIDEO]
Have you ever seen anything so ugly?
I was out in the yard the other night and came upon two objects that I hadn't seen before. What are they? They look like snakeskins to me.
Although, I can't recall ever seeing a snakeskin up close. What if there's a snake den under my house?
I brought the questionable items into the house and took photos. Surely, if I post the photos on social media someone will know what they are. It's late. I'll post the photos in the morning.
So, I had a nightmare...about snakes.
Could there possibly be snakes living under my house? I did see a story a while back about a lot of snakes under a home.
Check out the video below from NBC News.
I posted my photos on the NextDoor App.
To my delight, I learned that the "snakeskins" I found in my yard are nothing to worry about.
They're actually pods from a locust or catalpa tree.
From my neighbor William:
As others have noted, they are seed pods from locust trees. By the way, squirrels love to eat them, as some birds probably do as well, so don't worry about picking them up immediately.
