Must-See Washington Waterpark is Awesome 80’s Childhood Throwback
Looking for a destination location in Washington State? I grew up in the 80s and one of my fondest memories is going to a place called Wild Waters outside of Coeur D'Alene Idaho.
Wild Waters has come and gone but there is still a place in Washington State which is a total throwback to those days as a kid.
Growing up during The "Stranger Things" era, we had our arcades and water parks and if you want to relive that experience, there's a cool waterpark in Birch Bay Washington that might be worth the road trip from the Tri-Cities.
Birch Bay Waterslides is located in Birch Bay Washington, located 100 miles north of Seattle. Birch Bay Waterslides has been in business for 35 years and feature over eight waterslides to enjoy.
Birch Bay Waterslides also features a kiddie pool, activity pool, hot tub, gift shop, and concession services.
I was looking at videos and the Birch Bay Waterslides website and it reminds me a lot of the defunct Wild Waters that I loved as a kid.
If you are planning a trip, Birch Bay Waterslides is open through the summer until September 5th.
On a hot summer day, taking the family and heading to the waterpark was always the best. If you've been looking for a summer adventure with gas prices going down, you might have to add Birch Bay Waterslides to your list to check out.
