The National Weather Service has issued a HIGH WIND WARNING in effect from 2 pm-11 pm TUESDAY.  As of yesterday, a high wind WATCH was in effect.

Excessive winds can cause downed trees and power lines, building collapses, and more.  Be prepared to experience flying debris.

If driving, exercise caution.  Slow down and keep both hands on the wheel.

Watch for blowing objects.  Keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you and be aware of other vehicles in the surrounding lanes, as the high winds could push a vehicle out of their travel lane.

Remember, if winds are too severe, pull over to the shoulder and stop.  Turn on your hazard lights and stay in your vehicle, till it's safe to move on.

In the last few days, we've had some rainfall.  There is still a 20% chance for rain through 11 pm Tuesday.  Temperatures will remain in the 60's to 70's through the weekend.
