Oregon State Police (OSP) is asking for the public's help to locate and identify the driver and vehicle involved in Friday afternoon's serious injury pedestrian-involved crash in Hermiston.

On July 20, 2012 at approximately 1:30 p.m. LINDA LEE LERROSSIGNOL, age 60, from Hermiston, was walking northbound on the west side of the 80900 block of Highway 395. As she began walking across a driveway entrance/exit for some area businesses, she was struck by an unidentified white full size pickup with white canopy. The pickup was last seen by witnesses driving away southbound on Highway 395.

LERROSSIGNOL was seriously injured and transported by ambulance to Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston. Preparations were being made to take her by air ambulance to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, Washington for further treatment. Her injuries are serious but non-life threatening.

Anyone with information to help identify the driver and locate the vehicle is asked to call Oregon State Police at (541) 922-5751. Lead investigator is Recruit Trooper Joseph Dezso.

OSP was assisted at the scene by Hermiston Fire & Emergency Services.
