Owners of Mystery Safe Sought, Somebody’s Effort Failed

Benton County Deputies are searching for the owner of this safe.

It was found near the water out in Finley on Sunday. While it's not in good shape, it apparently did it's job. While the outer cover is 'torn' away, the internal components appear to be still intact.

Based on several sources, it 'might' be from an area business that had reported they were broken into over the weekend, and their safe was stolen. But authorities have not confirmed that report.

It seems that the person who was trying to open it gave up and tossed it. Anyone with any information is urged to call (509)-628-0333. All leads can be confidential.
