I might not have heard that correctly, but moving on, hey, Pasco Parks and Recreation presents: Let's make a Scarecrow to Go!

This is a fun Fall craft plus it's a perfect family activity, inherently COVID-19 friendly, that will make a great addition to your fall homestead spread. Purchase one for your family or one for each person, the choice is yours.

It's best to get registered by this Sunday to make sure you get your Scarecrow to Go.

Your packet will be bagged and easy to pick up and go.
Items included in your packet:
  • Burlap Sack
  • 1 hat
  • 1 bandanna
  • Raffia
  • Stuffing
  • Items to make a face
  • Instructions
 Items you will need to provide:
  • Old flannel shirt
  • Old pants
  • Gloves/boots optional
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • IMAGINATION!
Once you have completed your Scarecrow, submit a photo of your family with it so it can get published on their social media and a selection in their online photo gallery.
Photo Contest: Submit photos by October 18th to recreation@pasco-wa.gov and be entered in a random drawing for a chance to win a fall gift basket full of goodies. The winner will be notified by October 26th.
