Richland High Offers Counseling After Freshman Suicide Last Night

A Richland High School student took their life last night promoting the school to offer counseling services to students.

A letter was sent out to families by the Principal and if your student attends Richland High School, you might want to sit down and talk with them concerning the situation.

Parents,

It is with a heavy heart that I have to inform you that a freshman student took their life last night. Our counselors are available in the library and we are encouraging students to seek out counseling if they need it.  If you would like to pick up your student early from school we completely understand.  If possible please be at home today when your student arrives.   Everyone grieves differently, please take care one another during this difficult time.

We are all saddened by the loss of one of our Bombers.  Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.
