The scammers are at it again.

Richland Police report they've received numerous calls from residents receiving telephone calls from someone claiming to be with the Social Security Administration.

There are several variations the scammers are using including one where the caller tells the victim that their social security number has been compromised, then, requests a callback to resolve the issue.

The Social Security Administration does NOT call asking you for your Social Security number.  NEVER give your Social Security number to anyone over the phone.  And, NEVER confirm the last four digits.
