Ali Kolbert has hit the big time. She started as an NBC Page ala Kenneth from the TV show 30 rock and then returned years later to be on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Her success as a comedian has her taking front and center on a new TruTV series called "Top Secret Videos".

Rik and Patti caught up with the rising star to discuss the series and asked what it was like to go from an employee getting coffee for the big stars and then being the star on the show that she once was behind the scenes at.

Ali actually got her start working as a page at NBC in the famous 30 Rock building, working on shows such as Saturday Night Live and Late Night with Seth Myers.  It wasn’t long after when she made her TV debut in the very same building as a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.  She’s since appeared on NBC’s Bring the Funny, The Today Show, A Little Late with Lily Singh truTV’s Comedy Knockout, and The Howard Stern show, as well as comedy festivals across the country.

Now, Ali stars in the hilarious new truTV series Top Secret Videos.  Part work-place comedy/part home video clip show, Top Secret Videos follows a group of interns at the “NSA” whose job is to catalog all of the organization’s pointless security camera footage.  Ali and fellow comedians Brian Posehn and Ron Funches lend their own hilarious commentary to the most ridiculous, embarrassing, and bizarre videos they’ve ever seen!

Patti and I get a chance to talk to Ali about the new show and I'm such a huge fan that I had to ask Ali what it was like to work with Ron Funches. Don't miss out on this new show that airs on truTV on Thursday nights at 10:30 PM.
