Root Beer Frizz Coffee — a Refreshing Twist on Two Classics Combined
I'm admittedly pretty ignorant when it comes to coffee and coffee drinks. Sure, I try the holiday themed drinks from Starbucks sometimes. But when my daughter opted for this, it was all new to me so I thought I'd share.
So, without doing a ton of research, frizz coffee originated from Italy. Neat!
Just for a fun treat we went through a drive-thru and my daughter knew exactly what she wanted. She ordered a Root Beer Frizz Coffee. It was something I never knew about. I had a feeling I knew what it was, and I was right. Basically carbonated coffee but this had a root beer flavoring. Almost like a root beer float, but with a couple shots of coffee. Believe it or not, it was very good! Again, I'm not much for coffee but I'm all about root beer floats and this tasted more like a root beer float but with that hint of coffee. It was a fun experience.
I'm sure there are several places in town that service this. This particular one I'm holding came from C & S Coffeehouse on 40th.
