Safely Dispose of Old Prescription Drugs at Drug Take Back Day

If you have outdated or unused prescription drugs in your home Kennewick Police Department is hosting a 'Drug Take-Back Day' Saturday, October 26th, 2019

The invite from the Kennewick Police department reads:

 Kids are taking painkillers from their parents, grandparents and friend's homes. Prescription drugs are one of the first things criminals look for when they enter a house unlawfully. Help keep these drugs off the streets. Bring in your unused drugs to be safely disposed of. We are taking all drugs, prescription or non-prescription in tablet or capsule form, including those for animals. We are also accepting vaping pens. In addition we will have locking medication bags available provided by KEY Connection

The event takes place at the Kennewick Police Department Saturday, October 26th 10 am to 2 pm 211 W. 6th Ave.
