Suspicious Kennewick Vehicle Turns Out To Be Stolen [PHOTO]
A traffic stop on West 5th avenue in Kennewick lead to the KPD detaining several occupants of a vehicle.
Kennewick Police posted on their Facebook page that had reports of a suspicious vehicle roaming the neighborhood and it turns out after a traffic stop, the suspicious vehicle was stolen.
KPD posted this information about the incident on their Facebook page:
This morning, officers responded to the 1000 block of West 5th Avenue for a report of a suspicious vehicle occupied by multiple subjects. Officers found that the suspicious vehicle was stolen. The vehicle fled the scene but due to current daytime conditions, a pursuit was not conducted. Soon after, a Benton County Deputy located the vehicle, which was then stopped on West 1st Pl near Fillmore St. Multiple occupants were detained and the case is still under investigation.
It appears the vehicle was stolen and thanks to a Benton County deputy, the suspects are now detained and the incident is being investigated.
