Take a Virtual Plunge On The New Single Rail Coaster at Silverwood [VIDEO]
We've been giving away tickets for Silverwood Theme Park all month long to kick off summer and I'm still surprised at how many Tri-Citians still haven't been to Silverwood Theme Park. My own step-son hasn't been and as a graduation gift this year, we are taking him.
Don't fret about not making it to Silverwood, we are going to bring Silverwood right to you!
The roller coaster that Silverwood is really known for is Tremors! It's a massive wooden beast that rushes about 60 MPH and it's a hoot and one of their best-known coasters.
Silverwood through the years has also introduced new coasters from time to time and it looks like their newest coaster is quite unique.
It's ONE rail!
It's called the Stunt Pilot and it's new for 2021. According to the Silverwood website, here is what the new rollercoaster is all about:
Jump into the cockpit of a Pitts Special biplane as this single-rail coaster climbs over 105 feet into the sky and dives toward the earth below. Experience hairpin turns, aerobatic maneuvers and 3 inversions as the coaster speeds through heart-stopping obstacles before returning back to the hanger. Get ready to hold on tight and take flight on Stunt Pilot.
Talk about a wild ride. You can take a ride virtually on the video below showcasing the ride in all its glory!
Wow! that's a trip!
The Stunt Pilot single-rail roller coaster opened up on May 29th so if you been thinking about heading to Silverwood, this new roller coaster might be worth checking out!
Of course, we can't forget about the world-famous Tremors so strap in and take a ride on this classic too.
Silverwood is a few hours away from the Tri-Cities but I'd say it's one of our closest theme parks to enjoy. A quick jaunt up to Idaho might be the perfect getaway for you and the family and don't worry, you'll have a blast riding the newest coaster at Silverwood.
