Steven Spielberg’s Pentagon Papers movie, recently retitled The Papers (before it was The Post), has one of the most ridiculously stacked casts in recent memory — and it just recruited more members. Alison Brie, Carrie Coon, David Cross, Bruce Greenwood, Tracy Letts, Bob Odenkirk, Sarah Paulson, Jesse Plemons, Matthew Rhys, Michael Stuhlbarg, Bradley Whitford, Zach Woods, and Pat Healy have signed up help out Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep investigate America’s involvement in the Vietnam War.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Papers is inspired by The Washington Post’s publishing of the Pentagon Papers, an infamous, massive cover-up of government secrets and propaganda that made it clear the U.S. had secretly enlarged the scale of the Vietnam War with bombings in other Southeast Asian countries that weren’t reported by the media. Streep will play Katherine Graham, who at the time was getting used to being the country’s first female newspaper publisher. Tom Hanks is Ben Bradlee, the Post’s editor, who joins forces with Graham and a team of devoted reporters to fight against the Nixon Administration.

Take a look at that cast one more time, why don’t you!! Spielberg seems to be firmly buckled into his latest political biopic era, and with the success of Spotlight and the current climate of fake news and alternative facts, the public is probably hungry for another movie about reporters bringing astonishing government secrets to light. The Papers started filming a week ago, and will hit theaters December 22 in a limited release before it goes wide January 12, 2018.
