The Grand Coulee Corridor The Perfect Weekend Get-Away

My Husband and I spent the weekend at Banks Lake at Sunbanks Resort for a family wedding. The resort was pretty amazing with all sorts of accomodations from tent and RV sites with hook-ups to cabins and small houses.

Driving home yesterday through the Coulee corridor I was amazed with breathtaking views of canyons carved out by ice age floods. I spotted an article in the Tri-City Herald this morning about interpretive hikes which will be led by geologists and experts on the history of the area. Wow great day trip if your looking to see more of our beautiful state.
