The Lodge in Pendleton Closes Unexpectedly After Loan Was Granted

After receiving an $80,000 loan last month, The Lodge in Pendleton is calling it quits.

A press release from the Lodge's Adam Mack and Brian Baird states the reasons for the closure:

“The Pendleton Lodge LLC announces that effective immediately it has ceased operations within the former Pendleton Elks Lodge with no plans to re-open at this time.
Building owner and LLC partner, Lance Leonnig, has made the difficult decision to cancel all previously scheduled concerts and events as he looks to reorganize the business,”

The Lodge had received an $80,000 loan from the Pendleton Development Commission last month for work to start on a remodel of the old Elks building.
