Driving eastbound on 240 Thursday just after 8am a mother with two small girls (3, 5) accidentally over-corrected and ended up flipped with the vehicle on its side. Several witnesses pulled over their vehicles and rushed to help. Together they got the family out the back hatch and resting safely in a pulled-over car by the time first responders arrived.

All the heroes who climbed on top of the vehicle, brought tools from theirs to help the family escape, called 9-1-1 and assessed the situation were all gone minutes after the incident -- on to their own busy days without waiting for congratulations.

The driver said her girls were fine -- all three of them are shaken but in good health and good spirits with no injuries.
