
Kennewick Police Investigating Two Separate Shooting Incidents Overnight
Over the weekend, the Kennewick Police were kept busy with two separate weapons incidents with suspects wanted by the KPD.

In a posting from the Kennewick Police, here are the details of the cases:
On Saturday, May 9th, at around 11:16 PM, Kennewick Patrol Officers were first dispatched to the 1900 block of S Neel St for a weapons complaint where multiple gunshots were heard.

Kennewick PD: Two Separate Weapons Complaints Reported Within Minutes
Upon officers' arrival, evidence was found that a drive-by shooting had occurred in front of a residence.
The residence in question had a party ongoing with more than 50 individuals on the property.

A large response was provided due to the number of people involved. The suspects were not on scene and fled in a vehicle.
After a search of the residence for any injuries, three firearms were found inside. Officers will be investigating the firearms and the shooting that occurred.

Around the same time, Kennewick Patrol Officers were dispatched to the East Columbia Park Boat Launch on Paul Parish Dr for a separate weapons complaint.
Officers arrived and found multiple casings in the roadway. It was found that a suspect had shot multiple rounds at an individual in the park.
No one was injured; the suspect vehicle fled the scene. That incident is separate and also deemed to be isolated.
