Popular Kennewick Saloon Gets New Owners, What Does This Mean For Us?
Uncle Sam's Saloon is getting new owners.
The popular sports bar is expected to change hands by the end of the month. The owners of CG Public House are purchasing the property on Gage Boulevard. The Simmons family, Kyle, his sister Stef Simmons, and parents, Steve and Shirley Simmons are expecting to close on the deal on March 28th.
What will happen to Uncle Sam's Employees?
Nothing. They'll still be there serving your favorites. One of the new owners, Kyle Simmons, reports he's been warned not to fix what isn't broken.
There's a retirement party planned for Danny and Shirley Gray on the 27th. You can get the details here.
The History of Uncle Sams:
About 20 years ago, the Grays purchased Silent Sam's, which was a bar and cardroom. They turned it into a sports bar nearly 10 years ago. The name was then changed to Uncle Sam's Saloon.
The popular spot features 60 beers on tap, 54 TVs, and a full menu.
Uncle Sam's is one of the go-to places for sports fans in Tri-Cities. The new owners plan to keep Uncle Sam's Saloon running as it is. All is good for fans of Uncle Sam's Saloon! Cheers!
The Simmons family currently operates CG Public House on West Clearwater Avenue as well as Bite at the Landing in Columbia Park. You can read more here.
