Usher’s Stepson Kile Glover Has Died After Being Removed From Life Support
We have some very sad news to report. Usher‘s stepson Kile Glover has died Saturday morning (July 21) after doctors removed him from life support. The 11-year-old child’s mother, Tameka Raymond, was by his side and struggled with the decision, according to TMZ.
Kile, the son of Atlanta TV executive Ryan Glover, was critically injured in a jet-ski accident on Lake Lanier on July 6. He and a 15-year-old girl were riding on inner tubes when both were run over by a man, later identified as 38-year-old Jeffrey S. Hubbard, on a jet ski, according to a report by Georgia Department of Natural Resources. They were rushed to a local hospital where Kile was pronounced brain dead.
Upon hearing the sad news, celebrities like Russell Simmons, Eric Benet and Taraji P. Henson went on Twitter to send their condolences. “I am sending out every prayer I got to Tameka, Ryan, Usher and their family…,” tweeted Simmons. “To lose a child…words can not explain. I witnessed the emptiness in my aunt & uncle’s eyes @ my cousin’s funeral. Lord have mercy!” added Henson.
Kile is one of two children between Tameka and her first husband Ryan Glover. She also has two boys with her ex-husband Usher, 4-year-old Usher V (4) and 3-year-old Naviyd.
Our condolences go out to the Foster family, as well as the Raymond family, in this incredibly difficult time.
