Ariana Grande won't be attending the Grammy Awards this Sunday, despite being up for two awards at the show.

The singer has decided to skip the show after a disagreement with producers about a potential performance during the big night, according to a report from Variety. Grande, 26, reportedly wanted to perform her new single, "7 Rings" during the show. Producers suggested, instead, that she perform a medley of the song and a song of their choosing, which "insulted" Grande.

As a result of the disagreement, she won't be performing during the show, and has decided to skip it all together. Grande is apparently featured on several billboards advertising the event, however. Reps for Grande and the Grammys have no weighed in.

She isn't the only major pop star nominated for an award who's skipping the Grammys. Taylor Swift, also up for Best Pop Vocal Album, won't be there. Her reasons for not attending are slightly different from Grande's, however.

Swift has decided to sit the Grammys out this year because she's filming Cats, according to Rolling Stone.

The show will go on without them, though. The 2019 Grammy Awards air Feb. 10 at 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS.
