The Tri-Cities Cancer Center is offering Free Breast Cancer & Cervical cancer screenings to uninsured and underinsured women ages 21-64. Here's how it works:

Just call to schedule an appointment: (509)737-3420 screenings will be held at Lourdes West Pasco clinic Saturday October 18th 9 a.m. to Noon and at kadlec Clinic Associated Physicians for Women Saturday October 25th 9 a.m. to Noon.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A Lund University study reveals that drinking coffee can reduce the chance of a woman getting breast cancer. Researcher Helena Jernstrom says: "Drinking coffee can have a major effect on breast size. Research has shown that large-breasted women are more likely to be diagnosed with breast cancer, while downing at least three cups of coffee a day reduces cancer risk."
