44th Annual Walla Walla Balloon Stampede Takes Flight This Week

The 44th annual Balloon Stampede happens this week in the town so nice they named it twice Walla Walla

All the fun kicks off Wednesday, October 16th which is Kids day. Last year at least 1,000 children were able to take a tethered hot air balloon ride.

Thursday morning is the official 1st day of balloons taking flight over Walla Walla it is, however media day so no public flights. Thursday  Night at Tieton pilots have the option of taking flight again (weather permitting).

More flights scheduled for Friday morning and Friday night features the popular night glow event
