98.3 The Key Salutes Kathleen Johnson, Our Teacher Of The Month!

Congrats to Kathleen Johnson, our September Teacher Of The Month! Mrs. Johnson works at White Bluffs Elementary School and was nominated by a mom whose son was bullied and the mom was appreciative of Mrs. Johnson.

The mom wrote to us and said:

Mrs. Johnson has been amazing. My son transferred in to her class with only 5 weeks of school left due to a bullying situation at a previous school. My son went from dreading school EVERY morning to being upset that school was out for the summer and he would no longer be in her class. She gave him a positive learning environment and pushed him to be his best. In the 5 weeks he was in her classroom, he has come back out of his shell, is unafraid to challenge himself, and is actively wanting to go to school again.

There are no words on how much we appreciate her hard work and dedication to her students. Her classroom is a positive, happy environment and every student leaving has a smile on their face each day. She goes the extra mile to connect to her students when they arrive and leave for each day. There was no greater experience we could've asked for! HUGE thanks to this Amazing teacher!
