Petey was left abandoned in the dirt, left to die but thanks to some great people, Petey is on the mend. Petey's front leg is badly infected and possibly broken. Dr. Menks Mobile Care is taking care of Petey but he needs lots of love and donations for his continued care.

The West Richland Police Department is thanking everyone who made donations for Petey. As of this afternoon, the total has reached $1295 in donations

According to an update from the West Richland Police Department, Petey is doing great, he has energy and is healing well. He will remain at the vet for a few more days, then will be transferred to Tri-Cities Animal Control. After he is completely healed, he will be up for adoption through TCAC.

The West Richland is asking anyone with information about his original owners to contact them.

Lucky for Petey, he was found by a good Samaritan in the dirt off Ruppert Rd.He appears to be a pit bull type puppy, approximately 14 weeks old.

Donations are needed for his continued care. Please call 509-438-4800 to place a donation.
