The National Weather Service in Pendleton has issued an Air Stagnation Advisory from 10 pm Tuesday through 10 am Saturday, for areas in WA and Oregon.

Areas of central, south-central, and southeastern Washington, and central, north-central, and northeastern Oregon will experience poor air quality.

People with respiratory issues should minimize time outdoors and exercise caution.

State air quality agencies recommend that NO outdoor burning take place, and the use of wood-burning devices should be limited.

Check with local burn agencies for current restrictions in your area.

Light winds and no precipitation is when air stagnation occurs, with dust, soot, and ozone becomes trapped.  It's possible that fog can form overnight.
