On our honeymoon many years ago, we did white water rafting on the White Salmon, and it was awesome - until we biffed it! Traveling around the PNW is fun, and on our budget, we try to do it on the cheap to save money.

I thought I'd give you six "border" towns along the Washington State border worth checking out. Washington has Idaho, Oregon, and Canada along its borders, so lots of cool little towns to check out.
My hometown of Clarkston is on the border of Idaho, but I left it off my list as I think I found six other border towns that I think you'll like just a tad better.

I should've added Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene to my list, but I wanted to focus on some cooler, smaller towns in Washington State.
