It's a special treat when you see one cruise ship docked in the Tri-Cities but it's even more special to see two ships side by side.

Jim Zim, who's got a popular Youtube channel posted a great video of two cruise ships docked in the Tri-Cities. The ships later traveled under Pasco's Cable Bridge, making for a pretty epic video.

Jim describes how he captured the video:

I like to watch the cruise ships on the Columbia River in Southeastern Washington... and on this day, there was not just one, but two docked only about a mile from my house: American Harmony and American Song, from American Cruise Lines. I had my drone in the air when they were ready to leave after spending the day in Richland... and once they left, I got in my car and drove ahead a few miles so that I'd be in position to capture the view when they reached the Tri Cities' most iconic landmark: The Cable Bridge.

Jim's drone took to the skies and captured both cruise ships going under the Cable Bridge on their way up the Columbia River.

Cruise ships are massive so seeing two together is a rare treat indeed. It reminds me of when I lived in Seattle and there were cruise ships docked in the Puget Stand.

The most amazing thing was that an aircraft carrier came into the Sound and made the cruise ships look like miniatures.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
