Teen Girl Stabbed Boyfriend in Kennewick, Both Facing Assault Charges

Kennewick police say charges are pending for both teens after a stabbing and assault that occurred Tuesday afternoon.

Around 3:30 pm police were called to the 1100 block of West 5th Street for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival they found a 17-year-old male and the girl engaged in what they called a "domestic violence" incident.

Both were arrested. The boy is facing 2nd degree assault charges; the girl 4th degree. The injuries reported were not life-threatening.
