I have a hard time letting go of things I may need in the future

I usually can’t find what I need in the future anyway! Time to let it go!
I often keep things thinking I will need them in the future. But, when I do need something I've put in a 'safe place' I can't find it anyway! Yet all year long I feel bogged down with too much stuff!
