Fire At Finley Pot Farm, But Pot Not Up in Smoke

Benton County Fire District 1 crews responded late Tuesday night to a fire reported at a Finley area pot farm. The farm is on Gerards Road near Cochran Road.

Shortly after 9PM crews responded to the blaze, but it did not appear to have damaged any of the cannabis being grown there, it was confined to a two-story building that was part of the farm. The flames were contained to the second floor, according to reports. It didn't spread to the roof because it is metal.

The fire was out by 10PM, no word of any potential sources of the blaze, no other details were released. The investigation continues.
