Fireworks – the Rules for Tri-Cities and West Richland
In the midst of the pandemic, fireworks stands somehow made the essential business list and you can see them on just about every street corner in Pasco, Richland and West Richland. This is good if you want to celebrate the 4th with a bang, not so good if you'd prefer to have a quiet weekend.
The Mid Columbia is preparing for a July 4th holiday without the River of Fire or the Gesa Stadium displays and local officials are concerned (rightly so) that this will increase the likelihood of fires and injuries. Each city has their own list of rules for fireworks or has completely banned their use. It's your responsibility to know the rules. Get ready for a wild weekend!
