Huge Water Slide Coming to the Tri-Cities July 23rd, 2016

This was suppose to come to our neck of the woods last year (for some reason red-tape prevented it)

Lee Boulevard in Richland will be turned into a 1,000-foot slide on July 23

People can ride inner tubes down three city blocks, from Thayer Drive to Wellsian Way, according to "Slide the City" Cost starts at $10.

The state Department of Health confirmed Wednesday it issued a permit for the event.
