The Adams County Sheriff's Office needs your help in locating a suspect wanted in connection to a stolen vehicle.

Deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle located just before 5 pm Sunday in Othello, in the area of State Route 26 and Danielson Road.

The driver of the stolen truck allegedly threatened the reporting party with a screwdriver & then fled on foot.

Othello Police assisted the Sheriff's Department in setting up containment of the area with a K-9 team. K-9 Garrett apprehended one of the suspects, who was found in a vehicle pretending to be asleep. The driver of the stolen truck was located soon after and arrested. You have to love it when team-work pays off.

A third suspect remains on the loose.

29-year old Diego Rangel-Valdez of Othello was arrested for suspicion of assault and possession of a stolen vehicle. 36-year old Serafin Rangel-Sambrano of Mattawa was arrested for suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle.
