Much is being made about Kelly Clarkson‘s trim and toned figure, which she has been showing off lately.

The ‘Stronger’ signer isn’t shy about discussing her new shape, dishing to Us Weekly about dropping 30 pounds in the tab’s latest cover story. So, the billion dollar question is: How did she do it?

By training five days per week and adopting a portion-controlled diet, that’s how.

Clarkson dropped the excess weight in the past six months, with a source saying she “feels better about herself than she ever has.”

The singer remains a mere 10 pounds shy of her goal weight. You go, Kel! You are approaching the home stretch.

The ‘Duets’ star admitted that her new relationship with artist manager Brandon Blackstock helped inspire her to get back into shape and to, as she says, “tone.”

“Brandon is the first guy ever who tells her how beautiful and sexy she is. She wants to look good for him,” the source said. Well there’s no arguing that Clarkson looks terrific without the excess pounds. She looks absolutely adorable.
