Kennewick Police Arrest Murder Suspect at Local Hotel
A man is behind bars after a police search ended at a local hotel in Pasco.
Kennewick Detectives, Pasco Police, Tri-City Regional SWAT & the United States
Marshals Service located Anthony Spearman at the Thunderbird Motel in Pasco, WA. after a shooting on Tuesday, August 10th.
According to Police reports, Spearman was cooperative, exited a motel room, and was arrested. Spearman was booked into Benton County Jail on his Murder warrant.

On Tuesday, August 10th, just after midnight, patrol officers were dispatched to a third-party report of a disturbance in progress located in the 3500 block of W Hood Ave.
Upon the arrival of patrol officers, information was obtained that a male subject had been shot. Officers located the male victim, who was identified as 65-year-old Leonard Slack, who had two gunshot wounds. Officers began rendering medical aid to the victim prior to the arrival of KFD Paramedics. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he underwent surgery and was initially believed to be stable. During the initial surgery, the victim's injuries were found to be much more serious. The victim was flown to Harborview Medical Center where he underwent additional surgeries. The victim was pronounced deceased Wednesday evening, August 11th
After Slack passed away from his injuries, Spearman's arrest warrants were upgraded to murder.
