With Kennewick schools beginning hybrid education this week 'formally,' changes are being made to meal distributions. According to the KSD:

"The district will be distributing free five-day meal kits on Wednesdays during hybrid learning, with the first distribution scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 14. The kits will be available for pick-up at various times at 12 school sites. They're available by pre-order only."

Parents-families will need to pre order if they wish to receive these five days worth of supplies. They can do so by clicking here.

The District also reminded families:

"Families will need to complete a new form for each week's meal kit distribution. The district will post the new form weekly and send out a reminder to families ahead of each week's deadline. Each family should only fill out one form per week."

Next Monday, Kindergarten through 5th graders will resume in class instruction on the A-B model (A goes Monday Tuesday, B goes Thursday Friday with all students remote Wednesdays).

They will be followed November 2 by Middle and HS students. For more information about KSD meals during this hybrid transition, click on the button below.
