Marvel’s Inhuman Are Getting Bad Reviews!? I Liked It! [VIDEO]
Critics are slaughtering the new Marvel Comic's adaptation of The Inhumans that just premiered on ABC TV this past Friday. It wasn't perfect, but I have to disagree with the majority of critics on their opinions.
The Inhumans was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in the middle sixties and the general premise is that The Inhumans are mutants (without being called mutants) that live on the moon away from humankind. The center of the comic revolves around the Royal Family and the evil non-powered brother of the King thirsts to overthrow the Royal Family.
I watched both episodes and while there are some issues with the plotting, I actually enjoyed it.
My favorite character is LockJaw, the teleporting dog, and pet to to the Royal Family. A ton of toys will be sold on his cuteness alone.
The critics are tearing the show apart but I feel its unjust as I remember that the TV show "Agents Of Shield" starting off pretty slow.
It took Marvel until the second season to truly get going. We are now into the fifth season of AOS proving that shows can start off slow and in the end, have solid ratings.
We live in an era that I never thought I'd see. I grew up imagining what these characters would be like on TV and the movies, but comic books fans thirty years ago couldn't have imagined seeing The Inhumans as a live action show.
I won't spoil the show for you, but think of it as a comic book "Game Of Thrones".
If you haven't seen it yet, give it a chance. The critics are always tough on shows like this (fantasy, super hero, sci-fi) so some critique needs to be taken lightly.
I'm going to be waiting until all eight episodes have aired to give a final review, but I think it's going to surprise the critics and be a big hit for the network.
