New Development-Kennewick Police Arrest Man's Girlfriend in Rape

There's a new disturbing development in the case of a 38-year old man accused of raping a minor for several years.

In a second interview with the young female victim, Kennewick Detectives learned that Bret Emineth's girlfriend took part in the alleged abuse.

35-year-old Malesa Hale was contacted by Police and she was booked into the Benton County Jail for Rape of a Child in the 3rd Degree.

The investigation is continuing.

A 38-year old man was taken into custody on Monday accused of abusing a minor female for several years.

The victim reported the abuse to Kennewick Police on Monday. Her age was not disclosed.

Benton County Sheriff's Deputies along with Kennewick Police arrested Bret Emineth after an interview with the girl.

A warrant was granted to search a residence in the 2000 block of West Second Avenue to gather evidence of the alleged incident.

Emineth was booked into the Benton County Jail for Rape of a Child 2nd Degree.
