No Facebook or Instagram, 6 Activities to Occupy Your Time…
What a dilemma! No Facebook or Instagram! What is one to do? With the social media platforms down Monday, a lot of us had some time on our ands. What did we do before Facebook and Instagram?
There are many alternatives. How about:
Read a book
When's the last time you were into a really great novel, biography, or autobiography? My mother is a voracious reader. She doesn't even know what Facebook or Instagram are.
Go to the gym
I have a gym membership, however, I couldn't tell you the last time I was there. Today may be the day that I visit my local gym. I pay for it, I may as well use it. Can you relate?
Visit the mall
Instead of going to the gym, you could always get a good workout in at the mall or some of the local stores. You can actually try clothes on. Or, you can always shop online. This is an excuse to get those deals.
Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc.
Pick your poison. There are so many streaming services available, as well as local channels. Now's a good time to find a great series to binge watch. Recently, I started 30-Rock. Yep, I'm that late to the party.
Call your Mom
Pick up the phone. Call a family member or friend. When was the last time you actually had a telephone conversation and caught up?
We spend so much time on Facebook and Instagram. With the social media platforms being down, it's a great time to get back to the basics. Maybe a bike ride, or a walk around the block, get the car washed. Or, you can always tweet on Twitter.
