Bookwalter Winery is set to launch a new restaurant soon at 1705 Columbia Park Trail at the former R.F. McDougalls location.
John Bookwalter, owner of Bookwalter Winery is hoping to elevate his Fiction restaurant to a high-level dining experience and shift some of his focus to establishing a second location to his Fable Craft Bar and Kitchen.

According to the article, Bookwalter's vision is to bring a casual dining atmosphere along with an upscale bar to the old R.F. McDougalls location.

I'm excited to see the new renovations. I meet my wife at R.F. McDougalls in 2008 on our first date so it holds a special place in my heart.
The restaurant does have an amazing view of the river and the renovation will soon make the restaurant a destination location for the Tri-Cities.
