Cyber Hacking and Scams Don’t Be a Victim
Have you or someone you know been Cyber hacked? If you haven't, you are probably just lucky.
It seems with all the security questions and 2 point authentications or verifications, We should be better protected.
Scammers are proficient at tricking you

The truth is scammers, and hackers are brilliant and tricking us into believing their site is legitimate or their call is coming from an institution you trust.
I myself got scammed not long ago because the call came from my banking institution and even the extension was one I had logged in to my 'contacts' with a specific bank teller I was used to. This is called 'Phone Number Spoofing'
They called to "verify" charges and told me they would need to work with Apple Support to reverse charges made from my apple wallet.
Never Give Information Over the Phone
I was distrustful to begin with but they told me they couldn't text my bank alerts or Apple alerts if they weren't there at the actual institution. I believed them.
They went on to tell me they would put diagnostics on my phone in order to see If I'd been hacked and help me to restore my phone to the proper settings.
Go directly to your bank branch with questions
This obviously turned Into a living nightmare, where they then had access to my Apple ID and account info and ALL my devices,
I'm truly stunned at the amount of brilliant minds that would rather use that intelligence to de-fraud and do evil than using that brilliance in some amazing capacity to help the betterment of the world! It shatters my belief in the human race.
There are some helpful ways to protect yourself.
Only call numbers found within a legitimate App for 'Support'
Amazon recently put out a warning on scams while using their app: "Scammers might send fake email attachments or say you are being charged a costly fee" They recommend visiting the Message Center on Amazon.com.
Another good thing to remember is to NEVER talk to someone on the phone claiming the call is to verify charges. Banking institutions will not ever call you. It's best to hang up the phone and call your bank personally or go into the branch.
Don't click on emails about packages that can't be delivered due to lack of contact information. Don't click emails that lead you to another App to pay for charges they say you owe from some site.
I recently was contacted also for a Toll Bill, that led me to a different site to pay the bill so I would't incur charges for late fee. It was also a scam.
Remember your intuition is usually correct. If you have doubt that something is legitimate. It probably isn't. Stop what your doing and go directly to the source. Your bank branch etc.
Good Luck out there!
